So I need to let a few bounces per email address accumulate in a POP account and then this script will take action? What if I have 100,000 email addresses in my database? Waiting for even a percentage of those to reach three bounces would really make that POP account huge.
Since you wrote this article in 2011, have you found anything more advanced? I’m looking for something that can handle various types of bounces, and only unsubscribing them if it is a hard bounce.
